Candle Care Tips

1. Trim the Wick: Before each burn, trim the wick to ¼ inch to ensure a clean, even burn and prevent soot buildup on the jar.

2. Allow Full Melt Pool: When lighting your candle for the first time, allow it to burn until the entire surface has melted. This prevents tunneling and ensures your candle lasts longer.

3. Burn Time: Do not burn your candle for more than 4 hours at a time. Extinguish it, let it cool, and trim the wick before relighting.

4. Keep It Clean: If any debris (like wick trimmings or matches) falls into the wax, remove it to ensure an even burn and to maintain the candle’s fragrance.

5. Safe Placement: Always burn your candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface, away from drafts, pets, children, and flammable items.

6. Extinguishing Your Candle: Use a candle snuffer to extinguish the flame to avoid wax splatter or smoke. Never blow it out as this can create soot.

7. Reuse or Recycle: Once your candle has about ½ inch of wax remaining, discontinue use. Clean out the vessel to repurpose it or recycle it responsibly.
